The construction is solid, and the piece is beautiful, but as others have mentioned, it does not look like the image. It is much darker, and there is little to no variation in the color of the wood grain. I was also disappointed to find my item arrived with cosmetic damage (chips, scratches) all over the legs. Customer service did offer a partial refund, which was helpful.

The wood is much darker than the pictures. The top is not finished smoothly where the seems meet. It looks as if the wood is already starting to crack.
