Crafted from solid oak and inspired by the designer's fond memories of their grandmother's traditional Japanese tansu, which held a commanding presence and historical weight in her home, the Torleif nightstand aims to carry forward a piece of family history while adapting to modern-day aesthetics and functionality as it anchors with a contrasting lightness featuring 6 soft-close drawers with under-mounted glides thoughtfully arranged not to break up the legs.
