This table is very sturdy and heavy! It works great in our short term rental dining room. The finish had imperfections upon arrival and a new table top was sent to us, but it also had some imperfections in the veneer surface. It now has a "well loved" look and a bit of a patina so it actually works well for us. The first image shows the size with one additional insert, it comes with one other insert, so it can extend to quite a length. The other two images show the type of imperfections that are across most of the surface. The white bits and the cup ring are shown after a good cleaning with a damp cloth and they are not removable. We tried furniture polish, but the spots are permanent. That said, we really do enjoy the weight and look of the table and hope to use it for many years.
