This table is solid and sturdy. The thickness of the material seemed to have a protective coating on it. The color (dark grey) is such a rich tone. I will be adding a glass top for protection, especially because of the texture grain. I've added the chocolate dark grey coloring in my island stools and it pairs very well. Perigold's White Glove Delivery is such a huge benefit when making purchases for large furniture items.
