It is a truly beautiful piece. Very large and sturdy. It was impressively shipped and delivered all in one piece. So the assembly was literally just getting it out of the box. I added black hardware to the front of the drawers to match the cabinets in my house. I was a little surprised by the wood color. It wasnt what I expected based on the product sample photos. It is still pretty. Just not well represented in the photos. My complaint is that the drawers arent secured with metal slider hardware. They have wood slats siding in and out of groves, so nothing stops them from sliding out when pulling them out too far. Which is a problem for my little kids. But otherwise, I am happy with the console table.
