As other reviewers have stated, this is a very heavy and solid table. Thankful our delivery guys brought this right to the front door. It took my husband and I to bring it in, but we didn't have a problem putting it together. The color is is white with light gray and dark gray brushstrokes on it. It was a little more gray than I thought it would be, but it paired really well with the Atrakchi Teak Patio Dining Chairs and Kiley Wingback Arm Chairs we purchased. The wood is very smooth textured and so far we haven't had any issues. Also, we haven't put in the insert yet, so I can't speak to how difficult or easy that will be. I will update my review if anything changes.
