The design and construction were as expected, but the hardware is not an antique brass finish. It is not as bright as the online picture would suggest and is much closer to a weathered bronze. I returned the piece for this reason because the brass hardware was an essential part of the look for our home, which it did not have. Disappointed that I had to pay $140 for the return freight charge when I feel the product description misrepresented what was received.

Beautiful table and very different.

So far, I am loving our purchase of two of the KPC end tables. I had very specific ideas of what I wanted - two drawers and off the floor. I was impressed with the packaging - there were some dings to the cardboard, but the furniture was well protected. For the price, I thought that the drawers would be dovetailed, but they are not. I hope the furniture holds up well. So far so good. Lots of storage in the drawers. The crew that brought the boxes were very careful and the weather was terrible that day.

I'm sure it is a very nice end table, but I determined it was just too big and dark brown for my room. I bought Kensington Place end tables with tempered glass inserts instead.
