This item was a COMPLETE disappointment x 2. Received this item and it was not only damaged, but apparently glued together and was attempted to be painted over the defects. Replacement item came and even worse!! This is an item that is Lexington so we expected high quality especially for the price$$$$...NO WAY!! The finish is poor, not to mention the repeated damage. Wayfair needs to ELIMINATE this distributor if they are truly shipping previously damaged items. This has been the most frustrating and disappoitning experience I have ever had with Wayfair and I have been a loyal customer for 8 years. They handled the situation well and returned both items, however there is a bigger problem here and that is for Wayfair to continue to offer this item from the same distibutor and disappoint other customers?? Stay clear!! DO NOT get this item. It is such poor quality :(

Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. Wipe up spills immediately. Protect the surface from scratches using felt pads, placemats, or a tablecloth. Do not leave glassware on tabletops to avoid rings. Do not place hot dishes or serving pieces directly on the wood finish. Do not leave plastic or rubber materials on the wood surface. Avoid harsh solvents (nail polish remover, alcohol, etc.) and abrasives. Clean surfaces with a clean lint-free rag. Do not use polishes with petroleum-based elements of any kind. When polishing, rub in the direction of the grain and use polish sparingly.
