The piece has so much potential but is not reached due to the way the manufacturer tries to "hide" the nails which are part of the dresser construction. The shagreen texture is lovely and a nice shade of creamy ivory however there are literal streaks across the front and top of this dresser where ivory paint is applied or sprayed on to hide the nails. These blemishes are extremely visible on the dresser but not in the photographs on the website. Beware...photos attached.

This is a sturdy, heavy chest. Plan on 2 people to move it or choose white glove delivery and have them put it in the correct room. The grey is a little darker than shown in the photo. It has a rough pebble texture, with a distressed finish. I was expecting it to be a little sleeker and not as distressed so that was a little disappointing, but otherwise it's OK.

Its expensive for what it is but it had the very specific dimensions i needed. Texture is very rough and matte. Drawers dont slide perfectly.
