Bookcase is beautiful high quality though it is very very heavy. It takes 3 healthy people with muscle to put the hutch on the base. The lights look great on the lightest setting but can be very glaring at the highest (3-light settings). The rubbed brown leather accented doors look more black than brown, so I was disappointed in that. Overall it’s a great addition to our room. I noticed a reader questioned if there was a filing cabinet in the base yes there is a filing drawer it’s behind the middle bottom 2-looking drawers. I won’t be using it as a file but there are permanent metal file holders attached to the drawer. I do recommend unit but think it’s overpriced.
