This is a lovely piece! However, anyone buying should know that there is beautiful gold leaf underneath the glass. While the gold leaf is pretty, it creates a very warm, golden colored front to the credenza. I was expecting the front to be white. Not at all. Very Sturdy, heavy piece. Great for storage as I use it in my home office to contain my printer, among other things.

This credenza is unique and beautiful but was not perfect. I called Périgord and they credited a decent amount of money back so that I can overlook the flaws. Would have given 5 stars if piece was perfect.
