These nightstands arrived very well packaged. After unpacking got scared I would have to send them back because the soft glide drawers were not working. Thankfully on closer inspection I saw that all the rails on the left side needed to be pulled back and locked into place and then they closed perfectly. They are a good size for my bed and very sturdy. Thought they were matte but have a glossy sheen to them just fyi. Would recommend.
