I bought two of these and ultimately left them when I sold the house. The construction and finish were beautiful. Quality purchase for the price. But we often try to shove more friends at the table and this one hardly fits 8 extended because of the oval shape and large footprint of it's base. It makes it hard to push chairs in. Otherwise beautiful and you'll be happy if you need a table to seat 4-6.

Worst table I have ever bought. Any glass or liquid spill caises NOT only a stain, BUT a buckle . I am not sure I can even give this table away for free.

This is Truly a beautiful Table! My only wish is that it had 2 leafs. The top is indeed a bit more rustic than you may expect by the looks of the table mount. I sill have to purchase chairs. Pleased with the delivery and easy set up! This is a VERY heavy table! You will need atleast one if not 2 people to help.
