These are beautiful chairs that are quite large. The color skews almost towards black; it is a DARK green. When first sitting in them, they feel a bit slippery so the larger size is helpful (or a person could slip right off!). There was no strong smell other than the leather if you are sensitive. Shipping and delivery were handled nicely.
