While the item looks nice, it is not usable as designed. The entire structure is very shaky, even with minimal movement. The top is not attached to the base in any way—it simply drops in, and the loose fit allows it to shift or slide with light pressure. Honestly, a total waste of money if not used solely as a show piece.
