Sturdy, handsome, high quality!

I liked the design of this counter stool, but it was too tall for the spot I was putting it in. I decided to exchange it for a different stool.

I completely love these stools and they are even better in person!

This will be going back. It is too tall to comfortably reach the foot rest. The measurement states that it is 24 inches, however with the extremely firm cushion it is 27 inches. I am 5'8" and when barefoot my toes barely touch the foot rest and cannot touch the floor. Also the cushion which is said to be plush is hard and curls upward on the sides. It is not linen. It is a polyester blend made to resemble a very rough loose weave beige linen (they are not white). It velcros to the base, however the velcro strips are not placed correctly, so it is not secure. I love the look of these stools in the picture, however the cushion gives them a cheap look, and they are quite an expensive stool. Very disappointing...
