Product does not match the image shown. Additional scroll detail was added to the legs that does not present the same modern vibe as the one pictured. I received a replacement item which also was different from the pictured item and different from the first received. Neither style or color was correct.

Very nice piece, looks great in the narrow space at the foot of the bed. Looks solid and well made. Be careful with the measurements however - the splayed legs take up much more room than the stated width.

Solid sturdy looks authentic perfect bench

This bench does not have character. It does have a bad paint job. There are dark ebony and brown stains on the top plank. The sides and part of the legs have a sloppy reddish maroon stain. They dont blend into a cohesive look. The bench is actually 19 inches high, 54 inches long and 6.5 inches wide. Generously I give it two stars because it has a nice shape and rustic look. Sadly it is not the beautiful aged wooden bench as shown in the picture. I really am so disappointed.

I've always wanted one of these but I'm not sure I will be keeping this one. I understood that each will be a little different and unique and that they are antiques. So I was looking forward to the patina-ed wood that comes with an old piece. Looks like they stained this antique with really dark (espresso colored) stain. It really takes away from the whole concept in my opinion which was that I am buying an older piece. With that said, it's solidly built and very heavy. Haven't decided yet whether it will go back or not. I could sand it and try to get it back to the original color but for the price, I'm not sure I want to do that.
