Just Perfect! We purchased this chest for our side entry room (a step up from a mudroom). We LOVE it! Other purchasers gave the chest some low marks...We think it's awesome. The color, the size, the storage...all perfect. (A little difficult to get out of the packaging, but I'm sure that's what kept it safe on its journey!)

So the dresser is absolutely beautiful and larger in scale than anticipated. Initially purchased for my young daughter but the drawers are not on any track system and there is nothing to prevent them from being pulled out entirely. The pine is actually very soft like new pine, not hard and dense like "old wood." Wood is also rather unfinished and a bit splintery. I will be adding a wax layer to make it softer to the touch and prevent staining since it will now be used as an accent cabinet. It really is charming and I like it, but not quite what I expected. Smell is very unpleasant but I imagine that will go away with time. Completely assembled, even feet. Cant recommend for a child's use or for heavy frequent use. Good for a guest room or entry.

Complete false advertising and misrepresentation, which what has made me so angry about this piece.. This is in fact not reclaimed pine at all. It has new fir fronted drawers with possibly reclaimed top and sides. Made in china. The most awful part about this incredibly overpriced product is the noxious fumes from the dark chemical stain (not golden pine as pictured) that has been slopped all over it and have made me feel lightheaded and sick. Typical of cheap made in china furniture, except this cost me $1700. The drawers have a greenish tint to them and they are not the same as the top and sides, there is patchy stain on the sides. The construction of the dresser is nice so it is a real shame it is ruined by the stain. But mostly I am furious that I was mislead into buying a cheap looking copy of a reclaimed pine dresser which I already have in my bedroom. I am not sure what Wayfair plan to do about this misrepresentation and false advertising but I am pretty disappointed and disgusted.

Dust lightly using a soft terry cloth with the grain of the wood. To remove minor stains or caked-on dirt, wipe with a soft damp cloth. Oily stains can be removed using a cloth damp with a mixture of warm water and Murphy's soap. Dry the piece thoroughly with a clean, soft cloth. To avoid scratching, you should blot, rather than wipe spills. Apply adhesive felt glides to lamps and similar objects before placing them on tables. When serving hot food, always use placemats under the plates and hot pads under the serving containers. Do not set synthetics, rubber, or plastics on the wood finish as they might contain chemicals that will damage the finish. Do not leave newspapers or magazines on wood as the ink can bleed onto the finish and into the wood. Overexposure to sunlight can adversely affect wood finishes, causing cracking and bleaching that are difficult and costly to repair. Solid wood furniture is susceptible to changes in humidity. It contracts in a dry environment and expands in a moist environment. These changes do not affect the structural integrity of the piece and cannot be corrected. Maintaining proper humidity during the winter months is recommended.
