These bookcases are exquisite! Beautifully constructed, the material and color are rich and textural and they are very sizeable and impactful in my space. I love them! So glad I ordered them!!❤

I ordered this because I needed a nice substantial (tall) piece for my library. The quality is very good; it's super solidly made. I will say though that upon opening it, the smell was completely overwhelming. I was not sure why it smelled so strongly of something I might equate to like fresh asphalt maybe, but it did. I was worried that it might not dissipate and if it didn't I would have to return it. It has been in my garage for about 3 weeks though (it's for a new house we are moving into in a couple months. And I have been leaving the garage door open a few feet several days a week to give it plenty of air, and I'm happy to report that that smell is maybe 10% of what it originally was. It seems as though by the time we move and put it in our house it will have stopped smelling completely, but it is something to note as it's worrying when you first get it.
