I was unfortunately disappointed with the surface of this table as it’s really not even close to shagreen. It’s a fake molded shagreen made out of what seems like plaster. Easily scratched and chipped so have to be extra careful with this. The surface of this is super rough too. I need to read the description better!! I really think this table was over priced for the quality.
