The nightstand is beautiful and very substantial. Definitely not a lightweight piece of furniture. Seems to be very well-made, and although I was nervous about the drawers not fitting flush as I’d seen in an earlier review, my nightstand appears to be very well-made, drawers are flush with the front and they operate very smoothly. The finish is a nice soft black that shows a little wood grain through it. I love this nightstand!

Very heavy and solid piece of furniture. However, the knots in the natural wood grain look more like dents or accidental gouges depending on the placement and size unfortunately. Looks great from afar though, just disappointed at the price point to have it not look intentional. Also the drawers do not sit exactly flush and take some adjusting each time you close/open them. Have only had for a few days so unsure how it holds up over time but looks great and is very large and wide. Tried to upload a photo but kept getting an error. I’d check your specific unit and the wood grain “variations” before tearing up the box and throwing it away in case you need to return or have it repaired.

Arrived quickly and a very large, sturdy piece. Drawers seem deep and color looks exactly as shown (in the black oak)

Beautiful. Came with a chipped corner, but they instantly offered to replace it with a new only. This piece is solid wood and very heavy and looks just like the photo.
