The cubby hole is too small to accommodate standard size receivers. The dimensions for these spaces is not included in the product listing, so one should be able to assume it will fit standard size equipment given the intended use for this furniture item, however you cannot. The piece looks beautiful but it is NOT functional. In addition, it's upsetting to pay a high price and not have quality sliders for the drawers. Cheaply made for the price.

Beautiful console with nice variety of functional drawers, cabinets, and open shelves. Only thing to mention is it's definitely more black than the gray it can appear in on the website.

I thought it was suppsed to be auburn poplar, but it came in the darker color
