I am returning. They are warm and have a bit of an orange hue to them. The papercord seat is NOT comfortable for an extended period of time and is rough in texture. The legs are MUCH darker than they appear online and are inconsistent. One of the chairs was very dark compared to the others. I reached out to Perigold customer service but they were unhelpful and saw no issue. Judge for yourself from the uploaded photo. I would not recommend.

These stools are much nicer in person than in the photos. The finish and overall look feel more substantial and refined. They’re actually quite comfortable even without the pillows, which surprised me. Since they’re primarily for show and occasional use in our home, I prefer the cleaner look without ties. That said, when we have company staying and the stools get more frequent use, I’ll likely add the pillows for extra comfort. The pillow fabric is a neutral whitish-beige — very versatile — and they’re beautifully made with excellent craftsmanship. Very happy with this purchase.

Exceeded expectations- has the woven look without the scratchy feeling you come to associate with that material. Very comfortable and well made.

Beautiful stool, very sturdy but color of legs is much darker in person than featured on the website so unfortunately didn’t work for our kitchen.
