Although darker than expected (more of a chocolate vs lighter color depicted) this fits very well in the room and the size is perfect. It is well constructed and solid.

The color is much more of an ordinary brown than the lighter warm tone I perceived from the photo. However, it’s still a nice warm tone, just richer in color. Very clean lines. Works well for my transitional style but the piece itself gives a very mid century modern vibe.

I am incredibly frustrated with this purchase - especially considering the cost. I have only had it for a year and it is cracking in multiple places. It sits in a hallway in a climate controlled house, and it is only used for extra storage items, so it isnt like it is heavily accessed or used. The amount of cracking is unacceptable after a year.
