I have had this table for over a year now. To be honest,when it arrived I was thrilled. I thought the color was beautiful, and everyone complimented me. It is a very pretty-looking table. Now, a year later, I am beyond frustrated, and the price does not reflect the quality whatsoever. First of all, I was under the impression that this table could easily sit 6 people. However, upon receiving the table, it only comfortably seats 4 due to the positioning of the legs. If you have wider chairs, there is no way for them to slide under the table without them sticking out. This leaves you unable to walk past them if you have a tight dining room, and if there were six chairs, someone would always have the legs of the table right at their kneecaps or between their legs. If a coaster is not used, this table is instantly stained. Any little spill or condensation will permanently stay on the table. The varnish literally peels off leaving spots. The edges of the table are peeling and chipping away and getting worse every day, which is extremely frustrating. I messaged Wayfair and Perigold multiple times and was told they would send a replacement top, but they never did, and continued canceling the order 3 times. There are equally beautiful tables without a $1,000+ price tag and superior craftsmanship. Please spend your money elsewhere.

High quality solid wood with a neutral light stain. Fits well on an 8 x 10 rug. Looks great in our space.

It's a beautiful table but mine came with a defect which sucks because I waited 2 months for this table, and the wood is raw and unsealed so every nick shows. Also be wary of the chairs you get because mine don't push in all the way. Otherwise it is solid wood.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience purchasing a table from Joss Main. I have owned this table for less than a year, and it has had very minimal use yet it is already having issues. For the price paid, I expected much better quality and durability. Furniture should absolutely last longer than this, especially when it hasn’t even been heavily used. What’s even more frustrating is the complete lack of customer service. I reached out to their support team about the problem and they responded asking for photos. I promptly sent the requested photos… and then nothing. No follow up. No resolution. No acknowledgment. I emailed two more times after that and still received no response. Being ignored after providing exactly what they asked for is unacceptable. It shows a lack of accountability and care for customers once they’ve already made the purchase. Between the poor quality and the nonexistent customer support, I would not recommend purchasing from Joss Main. Extremely disappointing experience.
