The back is a bit higher than anticipated (good). But the arms are a bit lower than is comfortable. It's comfy enough but seems more of an aesthetically appealing chair than an amazing ergonomic chair.

Leather is the best for an office chair. This is a little stiff at first, but worth the "breaking in" at first. Does not have an adjustable back.
