I purchased this piece in "Brown". However when it arrived, the color was Black wood- which was very disappointing. I was able to return it fortunately. I did reorder in the "oak" color which is much lighter than I wanted but the size of the piece is perfect.

This wood is so durable and absolutely beautiful!

It’s an amazing piece of furniture. Big statement piece. We have a very large living room where most things look too small and this is perfect. Also arrived sooner than expected which was amazing.
