I was expecting more from these chairs based on previous reviews and the reputation of Fairfield Chair as a manufacturer of high quality furniture . The back cushion is not soft - the filling feels cheap. The tailoring is good but the fabric is more synthetic than I expected . There is a flaw in the fabric which should have been picked up on final inspection. Also the arms have little to no padding and are therefore uncomfortable. All in all nice to look at but not to sit on.

The chair is expensive but it looks very nice and well made. I believe it will be worth the money. I ordered indigo and it’s more of a muted royal blue but it’s a beautiful color.

I ordered 2 of these chairs for a master bedroom sitting area. I found them in a furniture store to be sure they were comfortable before ordering. I saved a few hundred dollars ordering them through Wayfair! The chairs don't take up a lot of space but feel much larger than they appear when sitting in them. The fabric is heavy but still soft. Great purchase!
