As far as the actual item goes- it is beautiful and it works exactly as I had hoped. I bought the 'set' and having the pair with different dimensions gives just enough visual interest without either trying to be the star of the show OR just boring ottomans. The lack of 5 stars was due to some trouble with the initial order and shipping/ delivery dates and confirmations etc. I spoke with many, MANY representatives from the company that told me confusing and/ or contradictory information, I received an exorbitant amount of emails and texts and I was charged, refunded, partially charged, refunded etc. multiple times after submitting my initial order (and without making changes on my own volition). The final woman I spoke with (after no less than a handful of phone calls- literally HOURS spent on the phone) was great. She followed through with everything she said she would and did as much as she could to compensate for my inconvenience and frustrations. The experience was such a headache that I was actually leery about ordering from Perigold, Joss & Main and/ or Wayfair in the future. Now that everything is said and done, I would be less hesitant to do so, but I will absolutely keeping the contact information for the angel that helped straighten everything out in case I run into the same issue- she deserves a raise!
