The table top only sits on top of the base. There is not lip or anything to secure it down. Which makes it dangerous and possibly cause damage to the stone. It’s a really pretty piece and matches beautifully with my decor but I’m very disappointed for the price. I also tried to verify it the stone had been sealed or not and they couldn’t provide an answer. It is didn’t buy the matching coffee table I would return these.
