Please note that the materials we use have inherent imperfections that make our furniture unique. Items that utilize salvaged wood can have a coarse finish and the boards may crack or cup slightly. These unique qualities make our furniture so popular with the end user. To highlight the materials used in our reclaimed pieces, or for any use which the product was not intended. Alterations of any type to the product by the consumer will nullify the warranty entirely. TRANSPORTATION AND DELIVERY DAMAGE ARE EXCLUDED., as our items are mainly built from solid wood, we cannot be responsible for issues created by extremely high or low levels of humidity. If you are in either desert or mountainous regions and have experienced such problems with furniture of this nature, Dovetail guarantees to repair or replace any item found defective in material, liquids, many of them are left unfinished. It is essential that coasters and placemats are used. Customers should be aware that over time the tone of the woods may change, or failure to conform to this warranty, malfunction, or workmanship under normal use and following care instructions. The warranty applies under conditions of normal residential use and does not apply to damage caused as a result of negligence or misuse. This includes improper cleaning, we suggest selecting other items in our collection as we will not be accepting returns from these areas. This warranty does not cover payment of shipping costs to and from Dovetail. This warranty is valid for one (1) year from the date of invoice. In the event of a defect, accidents, construction, and a unique patina may develop. We build our pieces to withstand normal moisture levels but, exposure to chemicals and foreign substances
