Additional Features

• Diego Giacometti-inspired detailing turns a traditional turned frame into something closer to found sculpture standing beside a sofa.
• Diego Giacometti's metalwork is the reference point for the swollen, hand-worked surfaces, which is what separates the piece from a straightforward period reproduction.
• Brutalist distressing builds depth across the metal, so raking lamplight picks out ridges and hollows instead of a flat surface.
• It stands taller than a typical side table, bringing the surface up to the arm of a chair where a drink is easy to reach.
• The antiqued glass top doubles whatever light is nearby, so a dim corner beside a sofa gains brightness without adding another lamp.
• An antiqued glass top reflects lamplight and window light, brightening a corner that would otherwise go flat.
• Cast aluminum keeps the weight manageable for a piece of this scale, making it simple to pull aside when you need the floor.
• Cast aluminum keeps the frame light for its size, so the table is easy to move when the seating gets rearranged.
• The lower lipped shelf holds a stack of books or a tray, so the top stays clear for whatever is in use right now.
• A lipped metal shelf underneath adds a second surface for a book, a remote, or a small tray without adding visual bulk.
