This ottoman is excellent quality. It is heavy and sturdy and well-built. The fabric is good quality and it elevates my basic living room with the tufted finishing on top. Should hold up to life with three kids and two dogs. Very pleased with this product. I have seen the same product with different fabric for 1000 more in local furniture show rooms.
