Love this sideboard so much. It's heavy solid wood and high quality craftsmanship. Beautiful statement piece. Shipping was exceptionally fast for such a big item (and to a rural area no less!), and no damage in the process. Nothing to assemble except the door pulls.

This piece was the right size and style for what I was looking for at a good price. The shelf inside doesn't seem like it will hold a very heavy load. I had several photo albums and yearbooks loaded on one and decided to move some of the weight to the bottom so that the shelf won't bow too much or break. There were some defects on the piece which was handled by giving me a credit so we could fix them.. which I was satisfied with. I have found the customer service at Perigold to be quite good.
