This modern console with one soft close drawer and stepped-up detail around each leg is wrapped in fine Saguran raffia, handwoven on the island of Bohol in the central Visayas region of the Philippines. Using the fibers of the Tipot palm tree this raffia features a rich dimensional depth not found in lesser machine-weaved grasscloth. Chrome-plated hardware on the drawer.
