Oh, my goodness! What a pleasant surprise. This chest is so well made and sturdy. I was worried because of several reviews indicating damage, mismatched leg length, bricks in drawers and other issues. My chest arrived with not so much as a scratch! It appears to be made from the finest wood. The paint is evenly applied. The hardware is top-notch. This very well made piece of furniture belies the price paid. It's the perfect addition to my room and I'm so glad I made the purchase!

Nice piece that was sent damaged.

I love this chest we just redid our bedroom and this was the last piece and also the most difficult to find. Since most chest were never the right size or color. Would definitely purchase from Perigold again.

Absolutely love these nightstands! Beautiful!

Black chest has edges that are a rubbed finish and look more antiqued or shabby chic. They are lovely, but I would like to have known they were not a solid black.
