It came missing a stabiliser link in the open box so I haven't been able to test it out properly. It is a beautiful stool but does not have the gold tones that the other reviewer noticed. It is very large. Even when measuring the space for the stool, when present it is a significant piece of furniture. The stool seat is very firm without much give so if you want a soft seat, this is not for you. The bars do not work as a foot rest for a 5'7" person as they are too low. It feels like being a child again sitting on a large piece of furniture with my legs dangling down. This is a beautiful stool but is missing the mark with respect to seating ergonomics. In the end, we donated this instead of buying three more.

Great looking bar stool! Obviously this has a very chic look. The distressed look is well done and in some angles has a more gold overtone than silver, however in the light the mirrored look is more prominent. The cushion is a very nice white (not too bright or too many beige overtones). It definitely is a statement piece yet very functional. My only criticism is that for the cost there are some edges of the cushion that don’t lie exactly straight. Also note that the stool is actually made of wood with mirrored overlay accents…And note the size! It’s a little larger (and taller) than most bar stools, which I like and I think adds to the eye-catching look. If it weren’t as pricey I would definitely get another to add more seating in my kitchen nook.
