An ultimately elegant piece, the Bertram Etagere, comes in a straight grain cerused oak or a natural bleached cerused oak with one hand-cast brushed brass drawer pull and sabot details. The shelving unit has one drawer for hidden storage and four open shelves for displaying decorative objects or books. Each shelf’s veneer top is chevron-patterned: carefully selected and laid by hand to highlight the oak grain’s intricate markings. The posts are hand-carved, made of quarter-sawn solid oak, and expertly sanded to taper with double-sided coving. Notice the coving detail carried to the bottom of each shelf.
