Love this bed!! Bernhardt is always high quality. Its sturdy and well made.

The headboard looks great! It is very heavy and sturdy and actually looks taller in person than in the picture. One thing to note though is that the footboard and side rails do not come included, which are another $1,200. You'll need to call in and get that ordered since they are not available on the website. I just thought I'd share this since I initially thought everything came included because why would anyone want this really heavy headboard just resting in between the bed and the wall? The bed could easily slip away from the wall during certain activities and the headboard can come down and crush you...which would be a very funny story to tell if survived without any serious injuries but definitely not a fun one to experience. Maybe I'm overreacting and buying headboards by themselves is an actual "thing" but just wanted to share my point of view. Anyway, the headboard looks great. It definitely brings elegance to any room it is placed in but keep in mind that it is only half of the cost if you are looking for the entire set.

Absolutely gorgeous bed that looks better in person. Extremely well made and good quality. The headboard is very tall and looks stately in my 10 ft high ceiling room. Took about 2 hours to assemble by one person. It is very heavy so you need 2 people to handle it. Also they had to wash hands a couple of times in between assembly so as not to stain the fabric. The color is offwhite almost cream and the fabric thick linen canvas. I have sprayed fabric protector on it. It's an expensive purchase to make online but it'll make you happy. Very well packaged and Wayfair large package delivery in our area is excellent. This is heirloom quality furniture that one will keep for a long time. I notice the way the fabric is attached that down the road it would be easy to get it reupholstered if ever one needed a change. I got the entire axiom collection for the room and it looks great. Now a fan of Bernhardt brand.
