Solid sturdy steel. Very stable and heavy-would not be concerned around pets or toddlers.

Warped screw on one of the tabletops- cannot assemble fully. Contacted BDI but haven’t heard back. Hopefully I get a response and replacement ASAP. Very disappointing given how much these cost.

Just what I was looking for. It arrived in perfect condition and was carefully packaged. Easy to put together. We are enjoying this purchase. Glad that we got this table.
