EDITED: We have had this table now for almost 3 months and it has several scratches on the glass. We are pretty sedate people --- 2 empty nesters recently retired. We had glass topped furniture in our children's rooms when they were growing up that still have no scratches so I'm thinking this glass is not suited for its intended purpose. I am down-grading from 5 to 2 stars. This table is quality! I am still deliberating on side tables to go with it.
