Veneer: Address spills immediately by wiping with a dry, soft cloth. Use coasters, trivets, and placemats for protection against hot or wet items. Dust regularly with a soft, damp cloth, followed by a dry one. Spot clean as needed with a soft cloth and mild soap. Do not use furniture polish, ammonia-based cleaners, or other chemicals as they will leave a wax buildup and will change the appearance of the wood over time. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, chemical solvents, strong detergents, furniture polish, and cleaners with bleach. Avoid lengthy exposure to direct sunlight (unless outdoor-specific items) as it may cause the finish to change. Always lift and carry, do not drag when moving furniture. Paper cord: Please note: Paper cord fibers may be prone to staining. Avoid contact with heavily dyed items and be sure to treat any spills immediately. Address spills immediately by wiping with a dry, soft cloth. To address potential stains, moisten a cloth with cold water and wring out excess water. Blot until you eliminate dirt particles and stains. Allow to air dry. You may also use a handheld vacuum to eliminate crumbs and dust.

These are beautiful. I knew I was ordering Ash wood, and it's going to be pretty, but there is decidedly gray wash to it. I am sanding the tops and finishing with high quality craftsperson oil. It will look a lot better then, but for the price, and I splurged and bought 2 of these, I'd just think it would have a better finish to it.
