It so happens that the privy councilor was so infatuated with her that he quickly named a porcelain set after her – without knowing that it would one day become a best-seller, selling millions of copies. To this day Maria remains one of the most extensive tableware collections with around 100 pieces. Its classic form and the elegant fruit relief around the rim make it a stand-out collection. "Maria" is a classic service that has already become a legend. For generations, it was the porcelain of choice at weddings and other celebrations.
