Over the years, the Dry model has opened up the road for us and various other cutlery sets, though it has always remained well up among the leaders.

The Couzon company was founded in 1934 by Mr. Jean Couzon. After having started producing stainless steel flatware and holloware in 1946, the company quickly developed into one of France's undisputed market leaders. The trading brand 'Jean Couzon Orfevre', adopted in 1971, was soon recognized on the market thanks to clever advertising - and, obviously, fine product quality. In the late seventies and early eighties, the company worked hard to be at the leading edge of progress, not only technologically but in areas such as sales, advertising and creation as well. The efforts paid off; in 1986 Couzon had over 700 employees and its products were sold with great success.

The Golden Ginkgo collection takes its inspiration from the intricacies of form and texture found in foliage from around the world. By interpreting plant forms in cast metal, Aram presents work that is evocative of a natural environment transformed and redefined. These pieces have wonderfully undulating leaves, which create an almost rococo surface of playful, delicate, and intricate forms. By combining the individually sculpted leaves, the natural forms join to create a complex pattern. I've tried to capture that sense of movement and fragility in metal.

With the Bistrot collection, we were inspired by some of our favourite places: restaurants, terraces and cafes. When designing this cutlery we wanted to faithfully capture the atmosphere while adding a modern touch: the styling is simple, the rivets are visible, while the colors and materials stand out nicely. From red to blue, not forgetting the superb materials with horn or tortoise effects. We're sure you'll enjoy this collection, which is designed to be both traditional and contemporary at the same time. Thanks to its generous and deep design, the rice spoon is ideal for serving rice of course, but also all types of accompaniments such as potatoes and vegetables, etc. This is the cutlery item you'll never want to be without once you have one.

Mirror-effect finish enhances the high quality of stainless steel, emphasizing shapes and design. The surfaces are polished with additives and mechanical brushes made of different materials, which smooth the stainless steel lending it a high gloss. Reflections enrich the object, make it even more precious.

PVD, which stands for Physical Vapour Deposition, gives the objects exceptional colours and shades. It consists of the deposition of metallic particles through vaporization in a vacuum chamber. The coating is welded on an atomic level to the stainless steel, giving the material greater hardness and resistance to rubbing and corrosion, thereby preventing the formation of rust or oxides. Thanks to the use of non-toxic materials such as titanium and zirconium, PVD is also used in the biomedical field as scalpels or surgical blades.
