These have some weight to them and can be a bit heavy to stack and store. They are rustic, versatile, and color is true to description. Just ran them through the dishwasher and they came out great. The reason for 1 star is that the person who packed and shipped this open box item of 5 plates did not use the correct packing material for the plates. 4 of the 5 were shattered, and Perigold did allow me to return. I’m just very disappointed that someone didn’t do their job. This is why prices go up because lazy employees cost companies money… then it gets passed down to the consumer.
