This spoon is beautiful and wonderful quality, but I thought that I was ordering a smaller serving spoon(my Reed and Barton set of stainless steel flatware came with a hostess set of serving spoons(the solid spoon, the pierced serving spoon(which I accidentally threw away), and a serving fork(these pieces are about 8.5 inches long). The spoon I received is the huge buffet pierced spoon. I am afraid to order another one, for fear that it will be buffet size. I will just keep this one, although I doubt that I will have any occasion to use it. If you have a pierced table spoon that is NOT the huge buffet size, please e-mail me, and I will order it(does not matter what the pattern is).. Elizabeth. Point Pleasant, WV. Mon Mar 20 2017

The quality of the serving spoon is good, really good. It is very pretty and attractive on the table. I would love to have a couple that are a smaller size as this is for banquet size. However, it works well for serving dressings and larger dishes. The spoon is shinney and fits in well with silver-plate, or sterling tableware.. Rene. LA. Wed Aug 28 2019

With the Bistrot collection, we were inspired by some of our favourite places: restaurants, terraces and cafés. When designing this cutlery we wanted to faithfully capture the atmosphere while adding a modern touch: the styling is simple, the rivets are visible, while the colours and materials stand out nicely. From red to blue, not forgetting the superb materials with horn or tortoise effects. We're sure you'll enjoy this collection, which is designed to be both traditional and contemporary at the same time. Thanks to its generous and deep design, the rice spoon is ideal for serving rice of course, but also all types of accompaniments such as potatoes and vegetables, etc. This is the cutlery item you'll never want to be without once you have one.

Ideally suited for soft cheeses such as Brie, Camembert, or blue and other edible mold varieties: The narrow, sharp blade glides through the creamy cheese without pulling or crushing it. In addition, the classic holes in the blade of this cheese knife ensure that stickier cheese does not cling to it. Since the blade is extremely thin, it is not recommended for use on firmer, semi-hard cheeses; ideally, a hard cheese knife should be used for these.

Warranty was quick and easy even after 320 years! Love the products and company. Cheryl D.. Sun Jun 29 2025

The Dry collection was Alessi's only model of cutlery. Despite the grim prospects forwarded by those in the sector, the collection proves that its innovative shape and resolute style, along with extreme manageability and an excellent finish, can weather the storm. Over the years, the Dry model has opened up the road for us and various other cutlery sets, though it has always remained well up among the leaders.

Charcuterie gives us some of the best food pairings and is the ultimate in casual elegant entertaining, especially when matched with French Home’s Laguiole barware, spreaders, cheese knives, and serving forks. The same as in Montmartre, Paris where you can enjoy the artwork and charcuterie at La Mere Catherine, the world’s first bistro, as fine mouthwatering sliced meats, a variety of sharp and creamy cheeses, and crunchy cornichons tantalize your tastebuds. Paired with your favorite wines, friends congregate around the charcuterie board and get lost in hours of conversation, great food, and drinks. Serve creamy mozzarella, delicious Boursin, nutty Parmesan, salty prosciutto, and spicy salami. This 9-piece charcuterie serving set includes a Laguiole corkscrew and a bottle opener, four spreaders, four forks, a sharp cheese cleaver, a fork tipped spear, and a preserves spreader all with stunning faux ivory handles (board not included). Laguiole barware, cheese knives, spreaders, and forks are renowned for having a three-rivet curved handle with the iconic bee emblem on its bolster symbolizing Napoleon and the French monarchy.

The Twig collection celebrates the representation of flora as fauna. Michael's fascination with a particular type of ginkgo tree, the Ginkgo Biloba, or "Twig", which grows with a double leaf reminiscent of a butterfly's wings, gave rise to a fantasia image of the plant. Executed at the highest level of handcraftsmanship, each piece is rendered in solid brass with hand-etched cocoon-shaped vessels. The pieces in the collection are a tour de force of the handcrafted process, capturing the poetic spirit that is so deeply indicative of Michael's work. "The first time I saw this tree, it looked like it had been completely overtaken by butterflies... as if we would all take flight the moment I walked too close or made a noise. The idea that the leaves could evoke the beauty of butterflies was magical to me, like trees that can metamorphose from flora to fauna in the blink of an eye."
