Inspired by the book "Viagens Philosophical" (philosophical voyages) by the naturalist Alexandre Rodrigues Ferreira, as well as by the fauna, flora, and people of today's Amazōnia, this collection, which was developed in partnership with Eco arts Amazōnia, gathers all of the group’s brands for the first time. Part of the revenue from the collection will be channeled back into the reforestation of the Amazon's Mato Grosso area through the planting of native fruit trees, which will help preserve an environmental, cultural, social, and scientific heritage that is crucial to the future of humankind. Absolutely the worst mug imaginable. I could list all the different ways it stinks (like the colors aren’t the same as the picture, etc). But all you need to know is the lip of this mug flares out so dramatically that there is no way you can avoid your coffee running out the sides of your mouth and down your neck. Seriously! There is no way to drink a cup of coffee and tea without spilling it and making a huge mess. Don’t think you will be the one who can use this mug successfully. No one in my family has been able to. I’m very sad I own two of these. I don’t feel like I can return them since I had to use them in order to find out that they are just expensive dribble cups. I grew up around pomegranates - from their use as natural dyes on the antique rugs I used to crawl on as a baby to an integral ingredient in the food that I love. When I'm at my home in New Delhi, I wake each morning to the taste of fresh-squeezed pomegranate juice. The color, the smell, and the delicate flavor all make it feel like a magical elixir to me.

In this profound slowdown, we also had to face ourselves. Creativity was then, as it still is, the best way to process and express this strange change. And so the project “Escape Goat” was born. Accepting the challenge launched by the journalist Ana Margarida de Carvalho, 46 authors wrote 46 chapters of a digital book, published online, and 46 visual artists illustrated them, all over the course of… 46 days. Such images have now been reproduced in an original collection of Vista Alegre porcelain coffee cups. With imagination, humor, and sensitivity, the written and drawn stories of “Escape Goat” look into us and into everyone's world, suddenly turned upside down. With this goat, we hope to kick sadness to the curb, and awake joy, inside and outside our windows.
