This was an ‘Open Box’ item. The plates are beautiful. The reason for 1 star is that the person who packed and shipped this open box item of 5 plates did not use the correct packing material for the plates. 4 of the 5 were shattered, and Perigold did allow me to return. I’m just very disappointed that someone didn’t do their job. This is why prices go up because lazy employees cost companies money… then it gets passed down to the consumer.
