“If you go down in the woods today, you’re sure of a big surprise. If you go down in the woods today, you’d better go in disguise.” Since the turn of the 20th century, ‘The Teddy Bears’ Picnic’ has been one of the world’s most beloved children’s songs. Just as enduring is the appeal of our Teddy Bears’ Picnic collection of christening gifts. Spinning a tale of teddy bears gathering for a day of fun, food and games, hidden away in the woods, the tune’s lyrics come to life in wonderfully sculpted keepsakes. “For every bear that ever there was will gather there for certain Because today’s the day the teddy bears have their picnic.”

Kit Kemp has worked alongside iconic British company Wedgwood to create a beautiful collection of specially designed china called Mythical Creatures. Her design was based upon a collection of embroidered fabrics produced for Chelsea Textiles and has been applied to Bone China creating a unique illustrative style. The Kit is often influenced by a sense of the whimsical and the lyrical, as well as a love of animals. Hence the collection features a series of characters and patterns that have a primitive, folkloric feel.

Coffee Cup with Saucer III Bode Inspiratório. In March 2020, faced with confinement that was unheard of, we had to look at the world in a different way. In this profound slowdown, we also had to face ourselves. Creativity was then, as it still is, the best way to process and express this strange change. And so the project “Escape Goat” was born. Accepting the challenge launched by the journalist Ana Margarida de Carvalho, 46 authors wrote 46 chapters of a digital book, published online, and 46 visual artists illustrated them, all over the course of… 46 days. Such images have now been reproduced in an original collection of Vista Alegre porcelain coffee cups. With imagination, humor, and sensitivity, the written and drawn stories of “Escape Goat” look into us and into everyone's world, suddenly turned upside down. With this goat, we hope to kick sadness to the curb, and awake joy, inside and outside our windows.

Enjoy a calming cup of tea or piping hot coffee using this adorable elephant mug designed by Thai artisan Penpan. Hand crafted from celadon ceramic, the mug features an unglazed rim and an elephant motif on a light green base with a crackled finish.

This mug forms part of Villeroy & Boch's country-style pattern Audun Chasse. With this pattern, Villeroy & Boch exquisitely bridges past, present, and future inspired by copper-engraved designs from the turn of the last century. Pastoral scenes in black and white have been freshened up by a creamy yellow accent border and other graphic ornamentations. 4 Patterns together yield a strong fashion statement to dress up your table or hang decorative plates on the wall. The 4 ranges are: Femme, Promenade, Fleur and Chase. Audun is a small village in what is now the Lorraine Provence of France and was the first pottery set up by the Boch members of the family.
