One of the early designs found is from nineteenth century France with a handle and steel prongs. This version is designed with a bright pewter handle and two steel prongs. The handle carries the fluted theme of the range and its fan-like shape makes it easy to grip for better control. The extractor is kept in a pewter sheath to protect the steel prongs and this sheath is perfect for engraving.
